When Survivors Become the Authors of Justice

Justice becomes deeper when survivors are no longer treated merely as victims, but are recognized as authors of their own stories, knowledge and change.

In my new Medium OP-ED, I reflect on the Survivor Alliance, Testimonial Therapy, rehabilitation, collective voice and the journey from testimony to transformation.

The future of human rights must be survivor-led—where those who have experienced violence have the dignity, agency and space to help shape the systems that seek to protect them.
